COTW #07 (CLOSED)

 

COTW #07. You know what to do: submit a single video that fulfills this week's contest requirements. All submissions will be rated by three judges, and the clip with the highest total score will be declared the winner. Every week, points will be awarded to the top 5 skaters and any teams teams they are associated with. Lb will maintain skater and team rankings HERE.

 

COTW #07 REQUIREMENTS

- tranny line, can be a pool, miniramp, barrier, or bank to ledge.

- 3 trick minimum

- at least TWO tricks in the line need to be on some sort of transition

- droppables allowed

- CAP allowed

 

DEADLINE

- Saturday, 04/09/11, 11:59 PST

 

PRIZES

- 1st Place: Feature spread in Lb Magazine, and winning clip featured on Lb homepage

- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Places: COTW Points earned towards league ranking

 

RULES

- total length of video cannot exceed 45 seconds. If youtube shows 46, you're DQ'd

- clip must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and EMBEDDED in this thread

- ramping video is permitted

- adding graphics, text and music is permitted

- you may enter only ONE video per contest, posting twice with disqualify your entry

- if you want your teams to earn COTW points, list them beneath your embedded video

- do not post questions or suggestions in this thread. Please post them HERE.

- video comments are permitted in this thread

 

JUDGING CRITERIA

Entries will be judged in 3 categories:

- skating: trick style, creativity, and difficulty

- filming: proficiency with advanced free cam

- presentation: overall edit

OTHER NOTES

- We will continue rotating in new judges in the future

- As of COTW #05, all 3 judges pick their top 5, and those will be put to a vote.

- Lb site currently accepts OLD Youtube embed code only, so please click "use old code" before copying it from your YouTube page

added a week to the deadline. now due on the 9th. hopefully skatereel issues will get resolved in the next few days.

 

i know u cap card guys got it covered, but the game needs to work for everyone.

If the reel is back up before the deadline can I submit a different clip?

Yes, hipno and sickones can upload another clip since they submitted before the deadline was extended. Their next upload will be their final submission for COTW#07.
