We Are Slowly Dying
What happened to the clip of the weeks, or any other contests for that matter?.... I think we should start those up again. LB is turning into just a chat site for fake skaters. Don't just leave it up to the people "in charge" of the website. Someone put up a contest thread or something. I was thinking something like bang yo self (with an original title of course) I think that would be great fun. People are making great videos. I'm liking them a lot :D. I just want LB to be as lively as it was when it first started. I'm sure if we all put effort in, it would boost everyones morale and give them the extra push to make more videos. ALSO! Trying not to like... get anyone butthurt here but I've been seeing the same people on featured for the longest time :I I understand that the videos are great and all but give the new guys a chance... Not saying I'm new or anything lol I haven't even been making videos.
Park/deck creators!
You guys are needed in this community very much >:O So instead of posting your graphics/ parks in the chat box, take the time out to drop them in a thread with some photos. It would help everyone out, even you. If any Mods or Admins could make a Notification bar or something strictly for Graphics and Parks that would be great. Keeps everyone updated on what's new. :) Well these are just my ideas.. Some of you may think they're just dumb. But Eh..

as for contests, maybe we can get some people to get back onto the COTW and maybe even some POTW (pics)....
i aslways really dug the Butterspots too, im down, but dont have much time to help out, now i can help making a new Issue though

Everybody says only worthy shit gets featured but I seen alot of worthy vids that did not get featured in the last 3 or 4 weeks it seems if your not roke mattyman derk or wiltz your vid don't get no love no hate really like your guys stuf
As for contests come up with some good shit and people will skate it we need a runs contest
The site has become a chat site more than a skate site and that's sad to see no new mags no new ads what Marco said is true

thing is the four guys mentioned above put in work in this community,if they get featured often it's because they always put out good shit.
why does it seem that people lose sight of the fact that is just a fucking game?if you're just making vids,pics,etc. to get featured or looking for that e-fame...well then you're doing it for the wrong reason.
every time a subject like this is brought up there's always accusations flying around.
just play the game and have fun,cause you're playing the wrong game if you're not.

jimmy your shit gets featured all the time, CAUSE its worth it.....half the vids have lazy edits, and boring flow to the whole video, it needs to be worth featured, sorry its the truth
not our fault the people who get featured constantly put out quality vids/pics, it seems ive been featuring the most stuff lately (guess snail and other mods are just lazy too, as am i)
no BB and no VB on Lb is what you guys should be complaining about......they have ALL the admin options, ive been making a Issue 6.5 of the mag, so i can do that
I can make Butterspots for the Butterspot contests, Bringing back POTW and COTW is a easy task, just need fools to be judges and whatnot
but to say the featured shit is boogus is just not right, work harder on the edit and the whole feel of the video and maybe it will show, you heard?

im with jimmy. ive seen/made a couple of "Worthy" edits and pics that never get the time of day.. it seems like if your not in that lil ELITE circle you wont get any shine. i know yall kids dont wanna here it but it seems like yall pick favorites and for that one reason, i cant really fuck with LB like that.. cause at the end of the day thats what it is. yall can rationalize it anyway you want but its true. im not attacking anyone or anything.. im just saying with intentions of constructive criticism

I was not talking about my vids I do it for fun if you like it fine if not fine I've seen a lot of guys put in work and get no love thats all keep an eye out.but let's not make this thread all about this
Clip of the week for sure bring back butterspots would be sick and as I said above a runs contest would brighten things up
